Created from 26 pictures taken with a Canon 5DmkII, Canon 24-70L lens, and Manfrotto 303SPH tripod head at 5:35pm on January 29, 2010 by Nate Siggard.
This panorama was hard to edit together on account of the very dynamic range of light in the picture from bright to dark. I am still learning the techniques behind spherical panoramic photography, but want to share this picture with you as an example of what is to come.
As you can see, the lighting changes quite drastically between some of the pictures. This is something that I can fix but was not completely aware of when I was taking this picture. You see, standing on top of a rock after a 2 mile hike up hill with about one minute to setup your tripod and take 26 pictures doesn't leave much time to remember that the camera needs to be on manual. Next time, I will know better.
Featured in the picture are Maria and Justin, see if you can find them.
